From 3pm on Saturday, December 15, there will be market stalls, kids activities, Santa, a chocolate wheel and over $2,000 in prizes to be won. The event will begin with a smoking ceremony.
A smoking ceremony is an ancient Aboriginal custom that involves the burning of wet leaves on coal in a dish (coolamon) to produce smoke. It is a respected event.
Every ticket goes into a second chance draw to win a Mogo Zoo tiger experience.
To win a $2500 Mogo shopping spree, drop into any participating stores to purchase tickets. The winnings can be spent in any participating business.
There will also be an oyster bar, Christmas hams, gourmet sausage tasting and special offers.
Annett Street will be closed for the event between the Princes Highway intersection and James Street .
