Working in their preferred medium, members have risen to the challenge.
Watercolourist Sheryl Miller has taken a narrative approach with her Kookaburra Line Up. In typical poses, a row of five kookaburra's perch on a branch.
Four face right but one looks to the left. Are they a family? What is their story?
Exploiting the expressive potential of line, Laureen has tried to capture its energy in her semi-abstract works. White acrylic circular and nest-like lines try to break out from their dark blue background, only held back by fragmented orange marks.
Then there are the 3D artists, weaving textiles, turning wood and shaping cable and metal to push the concept as far as they can make it go.
If you would like to enjoy pre Christmas drinks and nibblies, show up at the launch of the exhibition on Friday, December 7, at 4.30pm.
Voting in the “People’s Choice” is open until January 7, next year, any day of the week.

Put the dates in your diary and come along to the opening night on Thursday, December 27 at 6pm to mingle with the artists and enjoy some bubbles and finger food.
The exhibition opens Boxing Day and continues to January 13.
