Unit controller Mike Day said nine volunteers assisted with six jobs across South Durras, Maloneys Beach, Batehaven, Sunshine Bay and Denhams Beach as gusts of up to 80 km/h hit the region.
“These jobs were mainly threatening or fallen trees and one job was the result of a wayward trampoline damaging a neighbour’s roof,” Mr Day said.
“Most of the jobs were quite time consuming, with trees requiring removal before temporary repairs were made to houses.”
He said a large tree was removed from a roof in Sunshine Bay and repairs were carried out, while a windswept trampoline damaged a nearby roof in Batehaven.
Volunteers also removed a tree that had fallen near a garage at Maloneys Beach.
