The closure will allow work-crews from the Eurobodalla Shire Council to seal a new left-hand turning lane at the intersection of Beach Road and the Princes Highway, and relocate the traffic lights.
The Princes Highway will remain open, however traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction, with traffic control in place.
Motorists wanting to turn onto Beach Road from the Princes Highway will be able to enter via the traffic lights at North Street. To exit Beach Road heading south on the Princes Highway, motorists will need to turn left at the Perry Street roundabout and enter the highway near McDonalds. Northbound traffic on Beach Road can access the Princes Highway via Perry Street and North Street.
Drivers are urged to take care around the worksite, allow extra travel time, and follow traffic control and speed limit signs.
