Parkrun tourist David Messenger completed 52 consecutive Saturday runs at 52 different parkruns around Australia.
What an honour for Batemans Bay to be selected for the completion of his odyssey.
Raine and Horne staff filled the volunteer roster and made for a smoothly run and fun 5km run and walk for 81 locals and visitors.
The times varied from a very speedy 17 minutes, 10 seconds to a more leisurely 58 minutes.
Anyone who can run, shuffle or walk 5kms is welcome at parkrun and they are always on the lookout for volunteers.
Participants meet every Saturday morning from 7.45am at Rotary Park, near the Batemans Bay Marina.
The group loves to welcome new runners and walkers each week.

These are the things you can be guaranteed to feel about parkrun.
You will feel anxious when you first come; you will feel exhausted during the 5km but you will certainly enjoy the scenery.
You will wonder why you are doing this at the half way mark but you will get encouragement all the way from friends and strangers.
You will come over the line feeling crushed but you will be so proud of yourself for finishing.
And you will make end up happy that you made the effort to go along and join in.
