Batemans Bay RSL Sub-branch president Brian Wheeler and secretary Les Arnould led the service.
The Reverend Tom Slockee led those gathered in prayer, calling for all citizens of the world to live in peace “regardless of our differences”.
St Peter’s Anglican College prefects Leora Kelly and Sophie Brown read out the names of service personnel from this area who did not return.
Moruya also paused to mark the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month, as did Tomakin.
