Rob Cove and Kathryn Maxwell will be presenting the workshop.
They are both keen veggie gardeners and have installed over 100 veggie beds for Centrelink recipients across the Eurobodalla through the Veggies for All program.
“The course will outline the basics of successful veggie growing and workshop recipients will receive some veggie seedlings to get them going,” Rob said.
“Centrelink concession card holders who complete the workshop will be given the option of having SAGE assist with setting up an above ground veggie bed in their garden, complete with soil, compost, mulch and seedlings, at no cost,” added SAGE Veggies for All Co-ordinator Kathryn Maxwell.
The SAGE Veggies for All program has been possible with the generosity of the IMB Bank Community Foundation. You can book online through the events page on the SAGE website or contact Kathryn Maxwell by phoning 0467 558 645.
