The wait is over. Families in the Eurobodalla Shire now have access to the new Muddy Puddles Therapy Centre in Batemans Bay.
The new facility has been over three years in the making and started as an idea for attracting more services to the region for children with a disability.
In this time, parents and community members who have contributed to the development of Muddy Puddles have worked tirelessly to see their vision realised.
CEO Cate McMath said the centre was already providing services to more than 80 children a month.
“It is a great community resource that would not have been possible without a huge amount of local support,” Ms McMath said.
Helen Minns, mother of Lachlan who accesses Muddy Puddles services, said: “We always feel included by the multidisciplinary team at Muddy Puddles. To be able to access a broad range of services, from such a welcoming, family friendly space, is a real bonus for us”.
The community is invited to the official opening on Friday, October 19, at 2pm.
