During the last five years the Granite Town Music Festival has evolved into a successful boutique festival showcasing local and established artists, proving that small festivals are economically and environmentally sustainable. Its run by a volunteer group of people who are passionate about music and bring their special skills to put on the festival. We bring artists to the area people may not have heard of but everyone is blown away by how amazing they are and they become favourites with the locals.
It’s not just about the headline acts but rather all the performers and the experience.
With its small town vibe and big town sound it brings people together for the love of music and community.
Along the way we have picked up the ESC Event of the Year award, runner up in the South Coast Tourism award and this year were lucky to win a Destination NSW grant.
This years’ festival at the Moruya Racecourse on Saturday, 6 October features some of the biggest names in the Australian funk, soul and roots music scene plus great local talent, roving performers, the inaugural Granite Town Record Fair, fabulous food trucks, fine beverages and heaps of free kids activities.
