Broulee won both the under 10s and under 11s divisions, capping off a fantastic year in the junior grades.
In the under 10s, the Broulee Bluebells have been the dominant side all season, as they consistently won games by more than 15 goals this season.
They played the Mexican Waves in the grand final, who finished the regular season in third place.
The Waves hung in the match early, but Broulee’s class and skill came to the fore in a 19-5 victory.
The under 11 Broulee Blizzards have also been dominant this season, as they went undefeated through regular-season play.
They came up against St Peters in the grand final, a team who had beaten the Broulee Bumble Bees to qualify.
St Peters tried their hearts out all game, but the Blizzards were too good in a 27-17 win.
The best match of the day was the under 12s, where the Surging Waves took on the Narooma Sapphires.
The Surging Waves had not lost a match all season, and the Sapphires had only lost three, including the major semi-final two weeks ago against the same opponent.
The two sides went goal-for-goal in a tight first half, as both sides looked determined to take home the victory.
The Waves pulled away in the second half, but a very late burst from the Sapphires saw the score tied up at 24 at the end of regulation.
The match went to extra time, where the Sapphires built a quick three-goal lead. It wasn’t to be for Narooma however, as the Waves managed to reel in the deficit and claim a 31-28 victory.
