Andrew Malcolm said most of the new players were in the younger age groups, but it boded well for the club’s future.
“We had about 30 new players come and express interest in the Junior Blaster and Master Blaster programs,” he said. “They’ll feed into our under 11s for future years.”
After an extremely successful 2017/18 season, Malcolm is hoping for more in 2018/19.
“We’ll fill four sides again this year, which is great,” he said. “We’re still really strong in our juniors, but we’re still hoping to recruit a few new players.
“Our under 16s are looking really strong again, as are the under 14s.
“Looking at the numbers we’ll have, and the players we’re retaining, I think we’ll have a really good shot at three premierships this year.”
