Regardless of who is in the hot seat, the knifing of yet another prime minister had Eurobodalla shire residents scratching their heads today.
One bluntly asked: “Scott who?”, and went on to explain how the political “jumble” had left voters disengaged.
Another was “sick and tired of it all … they have to stop worrying about their own egos.”
Someone setting a far better example is Malua Bay’s Di Skelton.
At a ceremony in Queanbeyan on Thursday, Mrs Skelton was named regional Volunteer of the Year for 2018.
For almost five years, Mrs Skelton has helped coordinate up to 40 volunteer drivers through the Cancer Council’s Transport to Treatment program.
That’s the kind of drive we need.
