Batemans Bay Public School students and teachers hope to catch a cure for breast cancer and set out to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation at a recent touch football challenge.

Brave students took on the teachers, who wore pink to raise awareness of the disease that affects so many.
“Three minutes into the game and Emily Tyler went over the line for the first try to the teachers, followed by Max Thompson at the 10th minute,” a spokesperson said.
This resulted in a 2-0 lead to the teachers at half-time.
“The second half saw Corey Walker receive a disallowed try for his efforts at the 18th minute.
“This opened the game up for Rod Wright to score the third try for the teachers at the 20th minute.
“This resulted in a 3-0 win to the teachers at full time.
“All played well ... the teachers were just too good for the students on the day.”
“The students gave 110 per cent and kept the teachers on their toes.
“It was a huge effort by all and a fantastic game.”
Their efforts raised $192.35 for the foundation.
