Vietnam Veterans Day – Eurobodalla Shire Vietnam Veterans will hold a commemoration service on Saturday, August 18, at the Honour Stone on Beach Road, just north of the Batemans Bay Marina. The service will start at 11am. Anyone needing transport should meet at the Soldiers Club at 10.15am to board a shuttle bus. Afterwards, a luncheon for veterans, serving and ex-serving members and their partners will be held at the club at a cost of $25 per head. For bookings phone Kaye on 4471 6331 or 0467 249 182.

Moruya and District Garden Club’s next meeting will be held at 2pm on Saturday, August 18, at the Uniting Church Hall Page Street Moruya, followed by the AGM. Members are invited to display their flowers or pots or maybe bring some produce for the trading table. Afternoon tea is enjoyed by all after the meeting, so bring some light refreshment to share.
