Mrs Rodel’s family travelled from as far as Coffs Harbour to help her celebrate the occasion at The Glen on Thursday, August 9.
Family, friends and nursing home staff gathered on the day to recognise the milestone and enjoy some birthday cake.
Mrs Rodel was born in the United Kingdom in 1918 and married her late partner, Arnold, in November 1937.
The pair emigrated to Australia in 1952 after a 28-day voyage via Naples, Sri Lanka and Fremantle.
Mrs Rodel has one daughter, Mary, along with two grandchildren, Glenn and Traci, and four great-grandchildren.
Grandson Glenn Ward said his grandmother was an avid bingo and bowls player and adored her family.
She was flooded with letters from the Queen and local MPs.
