Well, I can highly recommend a trip to the islands of Papua New Guinea. The people are beautiful, the children a joy and the snorkelling...dare I say it? The best in the world! (Sorry Great Barrier Reef, Maldives and Tahiti!) I travelled there with my childhood friend Jan Emmott from Bodalla, now residing in Canberra and we had a ball! Pictured right: 'Gatsby Night' on the Eden Pacific, Jan and I got well and truly into the mood!

Happy belated birthday to beautiful Karen Ison last Monday.
Ammanda Donnelly enjoyed her first night away from the 'cherubs' in three months with a trip to Sydney to see PINK with her friend Tisha. The road trip involved a lot of singing and girl talk . Ammanda reported back that although PINK had been very ill with a virus, she gave 150 per cent as she always does. In the crowd were Hugh Jackman and Kate Perry also!
Bodalla Bakery was sure to have had a giant birthday cake this week for owner Dave Callender. Happy birthday Dave, did you get to have a sleep-in or were the ovens fired up at 5am as usual?
Margaret Barter will probably be out searching for lost and hungry dogs instead of enjoying a slice of birthday cake next Monday! However, if you are home Margaret, have a great day, you deserve it!
Jeremy Harding competed in two basketball competitions in LA and Las Vegas for Team Oz. Parents Nick and Carolyn went along as bus driver and “team mum” for the 26 boys. Jeremy's team went really well, making it to the semi-finals at the Adidas Gauntlet competition. A wonderful opportunity for young basketballers to play in top quality competition against some of the best in the USA. Some of the highlights of the trip included meeting NBL and NBA players like Jonah Bolden and Josh Childress. Congratulations Jeremy!
This Sunday little Bronwyn Geppert will be celebrating her special day with 24? candles. Looking great Bronwyn, have a great day!
Gorgeous Marlene Hewson will also be blowing out a few candles on Monday, no doubt surrounded by family and friends. Have a good one Marlene.
