Pooh wasn’t at home to answer Denise’s knock.
However that was the only disappointment on a walk in Mogo State Forest when 12 members of Batemans Bay Bushwalkers took advantage of a windless morning and winter sunshine on their 10.5 kilometre hike.
The yellow of many wattles in flower together with red feathered robins added to the pleasure of the day.
Once again Batemans Bay Bushwalkers were reminded that they don’t have to travel far to have a lovely day in the forest.
Each of our walks is led by a volunteer Walk Leader, who carries a GPS, topographic map, and when appropriate, a safety beacon.
We take our safety seriously. Bushwalking is a risky business, accidents do happen, injuries do result.
Each walk is graded for difficulty so that you can choose walks to suit your level of ability.
