Fire crews rushed to extinguish a blaze that threatened properties near Batehaven on Wednesday evening.

Firefighters were called to a grass fire at the southern end of Corrigans Beach just after 5pm on August 8.
A Fire and Rescue Spokesperson said crews from Batemans Bay and Moruya attended, along with Batemans Bay and Surf Beach RFS. The fire was brought under control just before 6pm.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said three patients were assessed at the scene. It is believed they suffered minor smoke inhalation.
Several residents from Beach Road, Batehaven, were relocated from their properties as crews worked to contain the fire.
The blaze edged onto the backyard of a string of homes, burning right up to the fence line of one property.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known and it is currently being investigated.
