Unit controller Mike Day said the incident happened at about 9pm on August 3.
“The residents discovered the tree on Saturday morning that made the racket on the iron roof and we attended to make it safe,” Mr Day said.
“A team of three removed the tree from the house and the roof before checking for leaks, which there were none, apart from a minor dent in the iron fascia.”
Mr Day said the job was a good learning experience for recently-qualified members.
“This call-out was a great opportunity for some newly-qualified cross cut and limb chainsaw operators to combine their working at heights skills,” he said.
