Moruya District Hospital Auxiliary held its AGM recently and the new executive is: president Julie Corkin, secretary Kath Smith, treasurer Chris Smith and two vice-presidents Anne Moylan and Lyn Rixon.

Leanne Ovington Director of Nursing & Midwifery at Moruya and Batemans Bay Hospitals attended and thanked the Auxiliary for all the fund-raising efforts during the year.
In 2017-18 the Auxiliary gifted Moruya District Hospital $148,540.69 worth of equipment and facilities for the comfort and care of patients. All items purchased by the Auxiliary remain at Moruya Hospital.
Our next big fund-raising event is a two-day Book Fair at Shop 5, 60 Queen St, Moruya (behind Harris Scarfe) on Friday and Saturday, August 3-4. Great books in excellent condition, nothing over $5 - thank you to the community for their donations.
Saturday will include a stall with jams, pickles, relishes, sauces and some great beanies, bed socks and scarves.
Donations over $2 are tax deductable. All donations are used to purchase equipment for Moruya District Hospital & Community Health.
