Two teenagers charged over an alleged armed robbery at Broulee on Wednesday afternoon have been refused bail.

Police allege the two males, aged 17 and 16, were armed with a pistol and knives during a robbery at the Broulee Supermarket and Cellars, at around 5.45pm on July 4.
According to police evidence tendered to the court, the 16-year-old was allegedly armed with a black pistol and a large knife, and pointed the firearm at the male attendant during the robbery. He is alleged to have demanded “money” before stealing cash and alcohol.
Court papers said the 17-year-old was also armed with a knife during the alleged incident.
Police allege the pair made off with $220 cash and a six-pack of Jack Daniels and Coke.
It is alleged the youth trespassed on a number of residential properties while evading arrest.
The 16-year-old was finally arrested after 8pm by a police dog handler in Headley Way. The 17-year-old was also arrested nearby.
According to court papers, the 17-year-old was allegedly involved in an attempted armed robbery the day before (July 3) at the Woolworths Caltex Service Station at Moruya.
Police allege he and an unidentified person entered the service station at 6.47pm armed with a pistol and demanded money, but fled empty handed after staff activated alarms.
The 17-year-old was charged with attempted robbery while armed with dangerous weapon and robbery armed with offensive weapon and the 16-year-old has been charged with robbery while armed with dangerous weapon.
They appeared via video link in Nowra Children's Court yesterday. They did not apply for bail and it was formally refused. Pleas have not been entered.
