What attracted you? I’ve always had cats. My last one passed away two years ago at 17 I wanted another ginger one, and Chester was just what I was looking for, not all ginger, but that’s okay. He looks a lot like my Jack Russell, Ralph.
How did you make the decision to adopt a rescue animal? I knew the RSPCA had lots of kittens, and I was sure I’d find the one I was looking for.
Best thing about your new friend? Chester has bonded so well with Ralph, I’m sure Chester thinks he’s a Jack Russell too. They are great mates, playing and sleeping together. Chester is an inside-only cat; I know he’s safe and what he hasn’t had he doesn’t miss. When Ralph is outside, Chester enjoys the sunroom while watching Ralph. It’s back to playing and sleeping when Ralph returns.
Why others should consider a rescue animal: Chester is no trouble; like all RSPCA animals, he came microchipped and desexed.
