The $900K project will involve the rebuilding and resurfacing of the highway between Batemans Street and Tomakin Road, as well as line marking, from Monday, May 21 to Wednesday, June 6.
Work is scheduled to take place between 6pm and 6am, excluding Saturdays and weather permitting.
Access to side streets will be restricted and detours will be in place, with a 40km/h speed limit during work hours.
Bega MP Andrew Constance said Roads and Maritime Services was committed to reducing the impact of the work on the village.
“It’s important the small village of Mogo continues to thrive and remains easily accessible for locals and tourists during daylight hours,” Mr Constance said.
“Work will be a case of short-term pain for long-term gain, as once the project is complete, motorists will experience smoother and safer journeys through the region.”
