The self-evaluating awareness program is from an Aboriginal perspective, and helps individuals deal with hurt, anger, grief, loss, anxiety, rejection and life issues.
It empowers individuals to make better choices. Although the program comes from an Aboriginal perspective, it is for all people.
Uncle Tom began with a clinicians seminar on Tuesday with 70 people attending.
Participants said the session was helpful, not just for work with community, but also in their personal lives.
The audience were treated to a performance by local Red Dust facilitator, Joe Brierley, who sang a moving song he composed himself.
Day two was a youth workshop in partnership with Campbell Page Youth Services in Moruya.
Day three finished off a wonderful week with Campbell Page Youth Worker and local Red Dust Healing facilitators Barry Fernando and Ivan Goolagong treating the young people to a fun fishing day and BBQ.
