The April gathering of the Eurobodalla Fibre and Textile Artist Group (EFTAG) was an opportunity for heads and hands to work together in the lead up to the big event.

Shire fashionista Julie Brennan said this year’s parade would be another catwalk extravaganza.
“This year's theme is Folklore and Fantasy,” Ms Brennan said.
“We’ll have a mix of beautiful, handmade original garments – many available for sale after the show – and some very imaginative ‘way-out’ pieces to wow the audience.”
Ms Brennan said the group’s monthly gatherings were important for inspiration and skill sharing.
“Sharing perspectives and ideas is vital to how our group works,” she said.
The Wearable Art Fashion Parade is a highlight of the River of Art Festival, and Ms Brennan said tickets to the limited seating were selling fast.

“Those who missed last year's parade can get a taste by checking out our short show-reel,” she said.
“Join our talented EFTAG women for champagne and canapes - and be enchanted by creations incorporating old world traditions with a contemporary edge.”
The Wearable Art Fashion Parade runs from 3pm at St Mary’s Performing Arts Centre, Queen Street, Moruya, on Sunday, May 20.
