What a wonderful Christmas Eve Night at All Saints Bodalla. The beautiful old church came alive to the sounds of an invigorating brass band playing carols with voices raised in equal exuberance. The lamps were lit, we had Christmas cake and port afterwards and Minister Carol gave us an impromptu organ recital as well. What a great way to start Christmas.
Cheers to the New Year and another chance for us to get it right!

Mrs Farrington-Smyth is still entertaining her posh friends from France, however if you were at the golden arches on Christmas Day you would have seen her their with her guests because the frog roulade was a disaster so they 'hopped and leapt' out of the house to find something else to eat. However, the French champagne was well consumed!
