The Bay Post/Moruya Examiner wishes our readers a safe and smiling Christmas.
Despite our best intentions, things can go pear-shaped on our roads, our beaches and in our homes.
Families feel the pinch, drivers rush, get stressed in car parks, lose their keys, their wallets and their equanimity.
Christmas can be raw for families who have lost a loved one or are experiencing crisis or family breakdown.
So, let’s take the pressure off the preparation and our foot off the pedal.
Instead of “perfection” on the big day, let’s aim for the far more achievable “pleasant”.
We can be present for each other, without an overdose of presents.
Happy Christmas!
