The event was held over 56 holes, played on a course in excellent condition, with strong competition over three grades.
Aaron Monopoli was the overall championship winner with a scratch score of 143 strokes with Leigh Coloe filling second placing on a countback.
Overall net winner was Christopher Earl with 139 strokes and a countback was needed placing Brad Doolan in second spot.
The championship grade winners and placings were:
A grade golfer Jason Nikolic was the scratch winner with 149 strokes with Mitchell McLean second on 157.
Adam Husband won the net competition with a score of 142 ahead of Brian Henderson on 146.
B grade player Russell Taylor was the scratch winner with 174 strokes ahead of Bruce Martin 175.
The net winner was Peter Nikolic with 144 and Bruce Cleave was placed second on a countback.
C grade scratch golfer Bruce Brawn with 186 strokes was the grade winner with Wayne Fullerton filling second placing with 189.
Saturday Round 1:
A grade scratch winner Leigh Coloe 70 strokes from Jason Nikolic 73 strokes.
Net winner was Brad Doolan 66 strokes from Aaron Monopole 73.
B grade scratch winner Allen Gannon 85 strokes with Bruce Martin scoring 87.
Net winner was Bruce Cleave 69 strokes. Paul Scholze with 71 strokes was runner-up.
C grade scratch winner was Peter McRae with 95 strokes and Ross Hendy was second on a countback.
Net winner was Peter Johnston on 71 strokes and Bruce Brawn filled second placing with 74 strokes.
Frank Pomfret won the Golden shot award on the second hole with 1.83m.
Sunday Round 2:
A grade scratch winner Aaron Monopoli 69 strokes with Leigh Coloe runner up on 73 strokes.
Net winner was Adam Husband 68 from Mark Haberkorn 69 strokes.
B grade scratch winner Ron Rogers 86 strokes with Peter Nikolic second on 87.
Net winner was Russell Taylor 71 strokes ahead of Kevin Healey 72.
C grade scratch winner Bruce Brawn 90 strokes with Wayne Fullerton runner-up 91.
Net winner was Christopher Earl 65 strokes with Gerry Strickland 68 in second place.
The Golden Shot award on the second hole was won by Aaron Monopoli with 1.10m.

Catalina Lady Golfer’s Results, Wednesday, December 6.
How amazing is our golf course? So much rain and on Wednesday we played a Stableford competition with a reduced number of only 52 players in fine cool conditions.
The saying goes “fortune favours the brave”!
Grade A winners: first Sue Lowes [20] 36 pts, second Kathy Roe [16] 33 pts and third Debbie Coleman [16] 31 pts.
Grade B winners: first Carol Soper [29] 35 pts, second Helen Hannah [26] 33 pts and third Carol Bennett [29] 32 pts.
Grade C winners; first Akemi Fukuda [38] 37 pts, second Nancy Leaver [34] 32 pts and third Nanette Childs [33] 31 pts.
Nearest the pin on hole 7, Div 2 Carol Gardner, hole 23, Div 3 Louise Fogarty.
Ball competition went to 29 even.
Narooma Men
Last Thursday the Stableford competition attracted 144 starters.
The winner in A grade was our course superintendent Brendan Warby with 43 points off a handicap of 11 and he was three ahead of second placed James Grant.
Our general manager, Dominic Connaughton picked up third place. Both had 40 points off handicaps of 11. Good golf gentlemen.
In B grade Chris Goldsmith prevailed with 39 points off a handicap of 15.
He was two clear of second placed Bill Anderson on 37 points off a 15 handicap.
Kevin Mitchell was pushed into third place on a count back off a handicap of 19 also with 37 points.
C grade was won by Sam Nicholls with 39 points off 35 and one better than Derek Smith who had 38 points off 21 handicap.
Third place went to John Punnett who scored 37 points off a handicap of 27.
The nearest the pins went to Ian Miller at the 3rd, Peter James at the 9th, Scott Ker at the 14th and finally Brendan Warby added the 17th to his winning habits on a day he no doubt enjoyed.
Narooma ladies
On Monday 4th December 2017 the Ladies played a Stableford competition.
The Winner was Meridie Banson with 38 points and the Runner Up with 36 points was Julie Whyte. Balls went to 31.
Wednesday 6th December 2017 was a Stableford competition.
Division 1 Winner was Julie Whyte with 35 points. Division 2 Winner with 29 points was Margaret Brown.
NTP Winner on 3rd Hole for Div 3 was Heather McMillan, on 14th Hole for Div 1 was Sylvia Donohoe and on 17th Hole for Div 2 was Ris Cheale.
Balls went to 27 points.
On Wednesday, November 29, the ladies played a Par event which was the third and final round of the Christmas Hamper competition.
The winner of the Christmas Hamper was Sylvia Donohoe and runner-up was Julie Whyte.
The winner of Division 1 was Jenny McIntyre with plus 1 and runner-up with square ocb was Dorelle Monteith.
The winner of Division 2 with plus 3 was Marlene Hunt and runner-up was Prue Barron with plus 1.
The NTP winners were Dagmar Kastowsky on the 3rd hole for Division 3, Sylvia Donohoe and Marea Clarke on the 17th for Divisions 1 and 2.
Balls went to minus 2 ocb.
