Judy Orford was this year’s recipient of the annual Liz Robinson Memorial Award.
This award is presented annually to an embroiderer who not only shows talent and expertise in the fine art of embroidery, but also contributes to the group in a variety of ways.
Judy has been a member of Bodalla Embroiderers for many years and has held several positions on the committee, such as Treasurer, Auditor and most recently as Librarian.
She is always enthusiastic, welcoming and helpful to other members.
She is a very valuable member and in recent years has devoted many hours to updating and reorganising the group’s wonderful library facilities.
Bodalla Embroiderers are now in recess for the year and will recommence on February 5 at the Bodalla Memorial Hall.
The group meets each Monday from 10am-2pm.
