The 2017 Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden photo contest attracted about 180 entries, more than could be displayed.
Organisers were left with the difficult task of culling for the annual exhibition, Ken Foster said.
“Once again, the standard of entries was generally high, with some first-time exhibitors,” he said.
“While there were a reasonable number of junior entries, the committee is keen to promote this aspect of the competition.”
The annual contest is increasingly popular with contestants and the public.
About 80 people attended the awards night and launch of the 2018 calendar by this year’s judge Andrea Warren.
Winners of the major prizes included Daniel Bateman and Cammi Coen, (junior section), and Julie Marten and Ric Banister (senior section).
The exhibition attracted a steady flow of visitors and played a significant role in promoting the Arts as part of the Garden attractions. More than 600 people submitted ‘People’s Choice’ voting slips.
