Three Eurobodalla projects have been given a funding boost, after $9.5 million intended for the Yerriyong Motorsports Complex was reallocated.
Seven organisations in the Gilmore electorate received the reallocated funds through community development grants.
In the Eurobodalla, Yumaro Incorporated was granted $600,000 for stage two of their residential respite centre. Muddy Puddles was granted $550,000 for stage two of their children’s disability therapy centre, and the Eurobodalla Shire Council received $671,000 for the second stage of the Corrigans reserve inclusive playground.
Anne Sudmalis, Federal Member for Gilmore, congratulated the organisations when she announced the funding allocations on November 17.
Mrs Sudmalis particularly praised the Corrigans reserve project.
“Thanks to Charles Stuart for his amazing work on this project and I congratulate Warren Sharpe, Director Infrastructure Services and Mayor Liz Innes at the Eurobodalla Shire Council, I look forward to the upcoming project works and I wish them all the very best,” said Mrs Sudmalis.
