Organ donation campaigner Brad Rossiter had a welcome surprise after addressing a recent meeting.
“After I had spoken regarding kidney health and organ donor registration – a very big part of my life journey – I was awarded the Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow Award,” Mr Rossiter told the Bay Post/Moruya Examiner.
“This is truly an honor to receive such prestigious recognition from Rotary Batemans Bay,” the Surfside residents said.
“Thank you.”
According to Rotary, each club around the world is challenged to appoint one non-Rotarian as a Paul Harris fellow.
Fellows include former US President Jimmy Carter, former Russian President Boris Yeltsin, US astronaut James Lovell and Jonas Salk.
