There is a gale warning and a hazardous surf warning in place for the Batemans Coast on Friday and Saturday
Winds on Friday are predicted light in the morning, becoming south to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the middle of the day then turning west to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h in the late afternoon.
The weather for Batemans Bay is partly cloudy, with a medium (40%) chance of showers this morning.
Friday is predicted to reach a maximum of 18 degrees.
Swells are at a minimum of 2ft on Friday morning, peaking at up to 8ft mid Saturday on south facing beaches.
The fire danger rating for the Eurobodalla is HIGH.
