A flock of holiday boaters made for a busy weekend on the waters for Batemans Bay’s Marine Rescue crews.
A Batemans Bay unit spokesperson said a crew assisted a broken down vessel experiencing engine problems, approximately 20 miles North-East of the Bay, on Sunday, June 11.
A crew of six assisted the four people on board the 4.8-metre fishing vessel, he said.
On Monday, June 12, a crew of three was sent on a public holiday rescue mission involving a broken down 4.9-metre vessel off Jimmie’s Island, Batemans Bay.
The vessel was towed back to Hanging Rock with three people on board.
