Eurobodalla cricketer Tom Engelbrecht has been named in the Under 19 ACT/NSW Country Academy Squad.
The ACT Southern bowler will contest the championships in Brisbane in December.
State talent manager David Freedman said the u/19 and U/17 squads had plenty of talent.
“Both have age groups have strong squads, with some outstanding fast bowling depth,” Freedman said.
The Under 17s will be coached by former NSW fast bowler Mark Cameron and the Under 19s by former Tasmanian all-rounder Luke Butterworth.
The under 19 ACT/NSW Country Academy Squad is: Jason Sangha, Matthew Gilkes, Tom Engelbrecht, Blake Nikitaris, Charlie Dummer, Daniel Leerdham; Raman Phoonie, Tane Nunn, Jordie Misic, Coby Cornish, Ryan Meppem, Avery Weilandt, Ryan Peacock, Jason Ralston, Ryan O’Beirne, Sam Skelly, Tom Scoble, Flynn Parker, Pat Montgomery, Hamish Starr, Kaleb Auld, Ian Carlisle.
