Vandals scaled the fence at the Kianga Sewage Treatment Plant to spray red paint over buildings and trucks, pour oil over the driveway and discharge fire extinguishers – with staff members left to clean up the mess.
Eurobodalla Shire Council water and sewer manager Brett Corven said security at the plant would be increased and vandalism discussed with residents, increasing public pressure to put a stop to it.
