Eurobodalla surf life saving clubs scooped the pool at the Far South Coast Branch awards at Tathra on Saturday.

Moruya Surf Life Saving Club president Mike Hallahan was named Person of the Year after overseeing the clubhouse redevelopment, for his patrolling service, emergency call outs and for running Special Nippers.
Rescue of the Year was awarded to Diego Carrasco, of Broulee Surfers, and the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter for their rescue of a girl and her father after their boat capsized at Mossy Point in April.
Mr Carrasco was patrolling Broulee beach when the alarm was raised.
After a search, he retrieved the female from the water as Lifesaver 3 winched the father to safety in treacherous conditions at the Tomago River Bar.
Narooma was named Club of the Year for its exemplary patrolling record and excellent growth.
Broulee Surfers SLSC took out the Jack Beale award for a record sixth year in a row.
The Jack Beale is awarded to the club with the highest point score (see full story, back page).
Shaun Pike, of Moruya, was named Life Saver of the Year and his daughter, Elka, shared the junior award with Eyrl Boulton, of Tathra.
Wendy Law, of Broulee, was named Administrator of the Year.
Ms Law is Far South Coast treasurer and assistant director of surf sports.
Sam Law of Broulee was named Rookie Lifesaver of the Year and Female Competitor of the Year.
Joe Halsey, of Narooma, won Male Competitor of the Year.
Mike Lambert of Broulee was awarded Trainer of the Year.
Official of the Year and the Branch President’s Award for Service went to Sue Hunt, of Batemans Bay.
Peter McKay, of Broulee, won the Director of Surf Sports Most Consistent Award.
Carnival of the Year went to Pambula Surf Club.
Tathra’s Dave Elliot received the Club Person of the Year.
Far South Coast Director of Lifesaving Andrew Edmunds congratulated all the winners.
“They’ve all done a fantastic job over the last 12 months both in their club and also as part of the branch,” Mr Edmunds said.
