Jake Traynor from Moruya took out the competition with his Turkish Delight, see Page 1.
Mr Traynor said his photo was taken at South Heads, Moruya, and some patience was required.
“I have been going to that spot for a couple of months, waiting for the right conditions,” Mr Traynor said.
He said he didn’t always get the shot, “there is a little bit of patience and a little bit of giving up”.
The People’s Choice Award went to Narooma’s Kaleb Moritz’s for his Surf Beach Good Friday.
“I’m a surfer ... I haven’t been doing surf photography for very long,” Mr Moritz said.
With 109 votes his photo claimed 50 per cent of the votes. He said he would put his winnings toward a new underwater housing.
