A P-plater has had his licence suspended after being caught mid-range drink driving in Batemans Bay on Saturday.

Far South Coast LAC Police said the 43-year-old driver was travelling with a child on Beach Road on April 22 when he was stopped for a random breath test.
Police said the man returned a positive reading for alcohol and was arrested and taken to Batemans Bay Police Station.
He recorded a mid-range reading and had his licence suspended.
He is due to appear in Batemans Bay Local Court in June.
