The Batemans Bay group ― who enjoy learning, companionship and fun ― has more than 600 members from all walks of life.
U3A offers something for everyone. The variety of activities generate social contact, mental stimulus and a network of support.
U3A welcomes and depends on those members who are willing to share their skills and interests by becoming tutors. All U3A courses are offered by volunteer tutors who share their expertise and generosity of time.
To add to the already full and interesting program there are five new courses in Term 4 across a range of subjects. Members can learn how to interpret their dreams; examine the history of The Crusades; participate in a stimulating discussion group on International Economics; examine and enjoy Dubliners, by James Joyce, renowned as the most famous short stories ever written; and exercise both body and brain in the lively Introduction to Scottish Country Dancing.
Added to the Continuing and Returning Courses, Book Groups and Wine Appreciation Groups, there are more than 60 different activities on offer in Term 4, strengthening the adage of 'Something for Everyone'.
