The mural of Broulee Island was painted on the back of the North Broulee toilet block several years ago as part of a revamp led by the Broulee Women’s Boardriders.
The Eurobodalla Shire Council removed the profanities, spray-painted in pink, from the mural on Friday, March 23.
Mr Sealy said he was upset to see the mural vandalised.
“I enjoyed doing that mural and a lot of people continue to give me good feedback on it,” Mr Sealy said.
“We went a lot of years without it being attacked, it was always in the back of my mind that it might happen, but I wasn’t expecting to see that.
“Thankfully I don’t see a problem with the restoration of it.”
A council spokeswoman said it was the second time this week community assets had been damaged; the playing fields at Tuross Head’s Kyla Park Oval were destroyed earlier this week by hoons.
