The dancers were required to be in Wollongong for four nights and perform five times at the IPAC in the festival’s 30th year.
The Moruya Country Markets helped make this experience possible for the primary school students by covering the cost of accommodation.
Helene Stokes, a teacher at Moruya Public School thanked the community.
“Without the support of our community, this would not have been possible,” Ms Stokes said.
“We are very fortunate to have such a great community surrounding our students.”
The school’s P & C also helped by funding the cost of hiring the costumes worn by the students.
