A man aged in his 70s was trapped after his vehicle left the Princes Highway and hit a tree near Bergalia shortly after 8am, Friday, October 20, emergency services say.

SES volunteers worked to remove the man, and were successful, spokesman Jeff McMahon said.
“I’m very proud of my team, and the way they responded,” he said.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said an ambulance was sent to the scene. The spokesperson said the man had no obvious injuries, although he was trapped for some time.
