With the pair among the final groups to hit the course, both players were able to hold their nerve in blustery conditions to each finish at one under and claim a share of the prize.
Elliott said navigating the course became more difficult on the Friday.
“The winds were at our back on the second day, which made the course longer,” he said.
“The targets were harder to hit.”
It was a case of deja vu for Warren who won at Catalina two years ago, also with a score of one under.
The former Japanese Tour player said the course was always a pleasure to play on.
“It’s one of those courses where you’ve really got to hit it straight,” he said.
“The greens are just perfect.”
Elliott and Warren were joined by greats including former top-ten player Roger Davis and 1991 Open Championship runner-up Mike Harwood for the second stop of the South Coast leg of the PGA Legends tour.
From Catalina, the group heads to Kiama before travelling to St George’s Basin.
Elliott said players can enjoy the best of both worlds on the tour.
“There is still that competitive atmosphere, but it is not as stressful,” he said.
