India, played by Layissa Mugridge, is super–intelligent, socially awkward and has lived next door to the Conways all her life.
She spends a lot of her time spouting “geeky stats” and spying on the house next door.
Actress, Layissa, a year 12 student at Moruya High School, says she found the role of India very challenging, but a lot of fun.
“‘I get to play a 12-year-old and I am finding a lot of similarities between her character and my own, especially when I was 12,” she said.
Now, the stage is set, the actors are ready to entertain you, so come along and enjoy this contemporary play, written especially for a cast of 11 women by pre-eminent Australian playwright Debra Oswald.
