Today, it’s clear Chambers has evolved from her early Not Pretty Enough days into a confident 40-year-old artist, with her upcoming album, Dragonfly, a symbol of personal discovery and strength.
Bouncing back onto the scene with her 11th studio album after recovering from vocal chord surgery, the singer-songwriter says she is relishing a time of new beginnings.
“My voice is stronger than its ever been,” Chambers told the Bay Post/Moruya Examiner.
“It’s a fresh start. I feel like a whole new singer.”
Eurobodalla fans of Chambers will have the chance to witness her talent up close when she caps off her Ain’t No Little Girl tour of regional NSW in Batemans Bay this Saturday night.
Chambers said she was looking forward getting back to the Bay to finish off her latest tour.
“We love playing around that area … we get a lot of support,” Chambers said.
“I feel a connection with regional areas more than a lot of people would.
“A lot of my childhood was spent growing up in the country. I’ve lived half my life on the beach.”
