Hays Recruitment Geelong is currently partnered with a federal government agency to recruit a Partner Sourcing Officer in a 12 month contract capacity

Your new role
This role has reasonable autonomy and accountability to exercise both initiative and judgment to interpret legislation and policy, in the application of practices and procedures to achieve outcomes within the functions. Responsibilities will include:

• Implementing and supporting sourcing project processes, tools and templates.
• Managing sourcing project reporting dashboards including schedules, risks, budgets and resources.
• Supporting working groups to understand project requirements in relation to sourcing projects.
• Contributing to reviews of sourcing systems and processes to support continuous improvement activities and best practice.
• Maintaining governance and compliance through corporate governance, compliance and audit and risk management processes.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Qualifications in a relevant field of study
• Extensive administrative capabilities
• Widespread reporting skills
• Ability to understand and apply company policy and procedures
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly developed skills in the use of the Microsoft suite of applications
