Travel agent Jacqui Gatehouse and dance partner Claire Adele Lassau are one pair that will dance up a storm in Tomakin on July 22.
Ms Gatehouse told the Bay Post/Moruya Examiner a nudge from her boss and personal experience with cancer drove her to take part in the Cancer Council fundraiser.
“I lost all my grandparents to cancer,” Ms Gatehouse said.
“Everybody knows somebody affected by cancer.”

With performance butterflies yet to kick in, Ms Gatehouse has turned her attention to fundraising, with aims to raise $2500.
The mother of two expected to have the audience in stitches with her contemporary lyrical routine.
“There will be lots of laughs because I’m not a very good dancer at all,” she said.
“I’ve been training by myself once a week, heading up to the studio and watching Claire’s routine video,” Ms Gatehouse said.
“I’m just trying to work it all out and hoping for the best.”
