The Community Action Alliance will run several candidates, with Liz Innes and Milton Leslight running for mayor under the group.
The group has at least 19 candidates running in the election.
Are you running for council? Email emily.barton@fairfaxmedia.com.au.
Meet the candidates here;
Michael Johnson, of Tuross Head, is a home designer and builder. He is concerned about housing availability and youth employment opportunities.
Dale Blake, of Sunshine Bay, will work towards improving employment and tourism in the area.
Councillor Liz Innes, of Batemans Bay, will campaign for Mayor this election. Issues on her agenda are tourism, construction, health and service provision industries.
Councillor Milton Leslight, of Batemans Bay, will also run for Mayor and wants to “tidy up” any “unfinished business” in the area. Key issues for him include a rate rise review and looking into further action on rising sea levels.
Danielle Smith, of Batemans Bay, will focus on disability, youth and tourism issues in her campaign.
Todd Leslight, 20, of Batemans Bay, will run as the youth candidate for the group and has set his sights on developing employment and educational opportunities for youth in the area.
Ian Hardy, of Maloneys Beach, will work towards improving the dialogue between council and rate payers, as well as improving job prospects for younger people.
Matthew Hatcher, of Tomakin, is eager to improve tourism and employment opportunities in the Eurobodalla.
Peter Hickman, of Maloneys Beach, will, if elected, focus on the coastal management program and sea level rise policy.
We have also contacted other groups who have candidates running for council. We hope to record each candidate and upload their videos to our website soon.
