Hope House treasurer Elaine Johnston said the generous assistance of $16,000 would help with day-to-day running costs.
Club Catalina operations manager Owen Quinn said his club didn’t just give money away.
“Hope House applied through a grant process,” Mr Quinn said.
“But we are pleased – it’s a great community cause.”
Hope House president Dennis Hughes said the support was more than financial.
“It’s not just the money but the community standing up and giving a hand; we really appreciate,” Mr Hughes said.
“We are providing programs to help our residents get back into society. It is so much more than just providing beds.”
